Apparently, MGS3 could be going xbox exclusive according to this web site. If this happens, expect to see a massive shift in market share from Sony to Microsoft. The fall out from this would be huge. Other game manufacturer's would follow this lead and also start producing xbox exclusive games. Lots of people (i mean a lot more than have so far bought xbox) would then go for Xbox, which in turn would increase the user base - so attracting even more games.

I think that's balls. Microsoft have deep pockets, we all know that...buying Rare and MGS may get a few more units shifted, but they still won't get them anywhere near the PS2, or even substantially ahead of the GCN.

Lets also not forget, PS2 lost the Resident Evil series to GameCube, and Abe's Odyssey went to XBox. There are still question marks over the future of FF as well. For now, i would stick with PS2, but in say a years time, who knows what the games market will look like.
