Real Madrid won 3-0 away to Roma..What a result for them, they are looking brilliant and that is bad news for all the rest of us.
You talk about Man Utd spending £30 Mil on Rio and running out of money (The richest team in the world)..well Real never seem to ever run out of money and have signed spome of the best players in the World at silly prices but just keep going on.

Ronaldo, Raul, Roberto Carlos, Zidane and Figo. Just five superstars they have on their team not to mention the likes of Guti, Helguera and Casillas. I mean come on who can beat that? Even when Betis were beating them 1-0 the floodlights go out. They've even got the great man upstairs looking out for them ............. the electrician up in the stands i mean :)
To be honest, Roma looked a right-old mess - even if they were playing against the likes of Raul and co., they were something different that night... something.... BAD!
I wouldn't be at-all surprised to see Ronaldo lifting the Europen Cup come May-June next year, even if he is in crutches or something. :)
Hopefully, Roma will fall-apart in-time for the new Transfer Window to open, when Batistuta will announce that he wants to leave the club...
Then, along come Man United and Sir Alex Ferguson, and the no.9 shirt is now occupied! HOPEFULLY. ;D

You say don't be surprised if they win, as if ANYONE in their right mind could bet against real this season. And it wasn't even one of their superstars that got 2 of the goals. it takes the mick eh. That said, roma didn't have batistuta or totti, but even so, they were completely dismissed.
