It appears DDR400 ram is strongly becoming a disaster after sis and via both dropped plans to make chips for intel prossers mboards running at ddr400, but even though this is the case boards can still be overclocked to run close to that speed.
Another problem found was that if more then one modual of drr400 was/is put in to a motherboard supporting it, the board would revert back to ddr333.
As ddr400 was suppose to be the death of rambus ram will that now get a reprieve or will it slowly be faded out as it seems intel are dropping rambus all together.

bah bound to happen, all this means that when i next upgrade i'll need yet another standard of ram and a new motherboard and CPU and no doubt a new standard for HDD ATA1090993443834096 no doubt.
lol just buy a whole new rig..... like next year and watch get out of date.
