Being new to this Resident Evil lark I didn't notice when I played Conkers Bad Fur Day, but Dracula's mansion in which you avoid zombies, is very similar to the Resident Evil mansion, in particular the front door area, that leads to a dining room.

Anyone else notice? Am I slow to catch on?

These little quirks are what make Rare games special.

Only in Resi the dinning room is to the left, and in Conker, the dinning room is to the right.

Also, Resi's mansion isn't falling to pieces! ;-D

And another thing, although the new Resi is dark like Conker's Mansion, the old Resi was pretty brightly lit.
I suppose it's only now the newer on is darker that you'd notice the similarities.

Conker's zombies are a straight blatant rip-off though! :-D

Just like the end boss being a homage to Mario the Dracula scene was taken straight from Resident Evil :)

I started enjoying it the second I switched to control type 'C'. Man, the basic controls suck!

But yes, now I am. I scare easily, so when the zombies get up I have a bit of a hissy fit, and panic, and I'm enjoying the game doing that to me.

Just to hammer home the fact that I'm a big scaredy cat, it took me months to do the zombie section on Conker, because I refused to play it when home alone. I mean, they were cute teddy bears, with eye sockets falling out! Uurghh!

Of course it's pedestrian, you're hardly gonna drive around a mansion are you?
