RPG's, the greatest games ever made are RPG's. (Except for WWF games by THQ) But does anyone else remember them when they were actually amazing. Now it just seems like each one is trying to follow each other and they are running round in circles like headless chocobo's or something. But I'll tell you, try and get your hands on a NES or SNES and play Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior or Zelda on them and if you like RPG's, you will start loving them. I can't understand sometimes the reason why having good graphics available to you diminishes gameplay. Is it because companies think that if they bung some nice graphical effects in there, fans won't notice drab gameplay? Well I notice it, believe me, NES games are usually better than a lot of N64, Playstation, Dreamcast or PC games. Why? Because games companies couldn't rely on graphics to save them, if their games weren't good, they wouldn't sell. Simple as that. I personally blame Sony mostly for this, and if you think about it you'll see why. However back then, games were fun, exciting and gave a great sense of purpose to the player. Don't get me wrong, some games today are good, I especially enjoyed Zelda but I must say that NES and SNES versions are superior.

Yeah, Alundra saved me from depression whilst I was waiting for Final Fantasy VIII to be released, good game but not as good as FF7 or 8.

If you enjoy the NES and SNES versions of Zelda, have you tried to pick up the first version of ALUNDRA on the playstation, this game is great too and plays similarly to those classic games.
