what is the best games console. is it the playstation 2 is it the xbox is it the gamecube or some other console what will get an award for most people like this console. what console is the best of its time.its down to you...
I would be for me the Super Nintendo I can still remember great moments like destroying Bowser at his own game,playing Star Fox and most of all clocking Zelda for the first time.I know it doesn't have the grapics like the XBox or PS2 but when you where a child is wasn't the grapics it was the gamepaly and being able to control Mario on short level or walking around with Link past or present.

it depends on what you want from a console in terms of games and functions.
PS2 = popular so many shelves will be full of games, DVD player
Gamecube = Nintendo games have always been good when it come to game play
Xbox = Has Halo, Hard drive, DVD player and makes a good door stop (joke)

Although I've got nothing against the PS2 and X-Box (except, I do truly despise Bill Gates), I'd have to say Gamecube. The controller is just far easier to get to grips with, and there just aren't many games on the other 2 consoles that interest me.
