I was only about 8 when mine when *BANG* and I fancy reliving some of that classic gaming. (yes I know you can get an emulator but I can find some of the games that I loved emulated)

It works
Its the right game
Thankyou soo much
And thanks to pb as well for loads of help from him.
you guys rule
If you don't want to buy a seperate tape player (which needs and earphone and microphone port) then I reccomend you purchase either a second hand ZX Spectrum 128k +2 or a ZX Spectrum +3.
The +2 plays both 128k version games and 48k version games, and has an inbuilt tape deck. It also has a basic menu system with a calculator, an auto-load function, and a 48k system for the older games. Basically, it's backwards compatable so most, if not all your current games should work.
The +3 model is very similar except it has a 5inch floppy drive as well, so if you can get one with some disk-based games then it'll well be worth it. Sadly, I never had that model. :(

If you enable the speed-up options etc. under the settings, it'll skip the annying tape loading mularky.
List a few of them, and I'll see what I can find.
Otherwise, most independent games shops could well have old spectrums for sale, otherwise try Ebay.
