I'm having the damndest time having fun with this Sega GT 2002. I hate the fact that you loose prize money for damaging your car. I also hate the fact that the tracks keep changing in the Event Races. Another thing I don't like is that in the Event Races, when you soup up your car or get a better one, you race faster cars in the same event. For someone who's a mediocre skilled racing fan such as myself, it makes it very frustrating to win money to buy new cars. I can't seem to get new cars because I can't win since I'm suck with crappy cars. Here, I'll just make a list of the pros and cons that I think are in Sega GT 2002 and GT3.

Sega GT 2002

Pros:

-Classic cars

-Able to use own music

-Customizeable garage

Cons:

-Too hard to win

-Damage takes away from your prize money

-Graphics don't seem as amazing as they could have

-Tracks change during events so you have a harder time learning

-Pale track design

-Pathetic license tests

-No special test courses to test top speed, 0-60, 0-100 acceleration

Gran Turismo 3: A Spec

Pros:

-Tons and tons of cars

-Amazing graphics

-Awesome track design

-Excellent license tests

-Better control

-You can customize the cars more

Cons:

-Can't use own music

-Too many variations of some cars

Now, I could be a little tired but it seems like I can't really find too much wrong with GT3. I think I actually like that game much better than Sega GT 2002. I think Sega just tried to make a GT3 killer but fell short upon execution.

What are your thoughts?

I haven't played Sega GT 2002 but the damage taking money is a feature I like. Just kinda pays not to crash.

You might like it. But you don't know how hard it is to get round steep turns without crashing and also the computer cars always try to ram you which makes you lose money.
