I wonder what these people would do if they were given an offer to increase their salary by 100% and move to a bigger more successful company. That is of course if these brainless thugs have jobs. Of course they'd take it only a fool wouldn't. Rio was doing what was best for him and in the future his future. He now has more money for the future and also get to play in the most prestigious European Championship.
And anyway football is only a sport it's not a matter of life or death your not going to die if your best player leaves it's meant to be some fun away from your normal life. Why can't people take it as that?
He's just not used to the pressures of the European Champions' League, or having to face his former Club Fans at his old ground. Those are thing he can't handle, and that's why I think he is not ready to be named as United's Captain yet - even if he can cope in the World Cup, European Football is just something else!

Scum? Exactly why is he scum? Because he went and took a 100% pay increase? He went to a more successful club? Wow i can see they're very good reasons for calling him scum. *sighs*

I take it you're a Manchester United fan. He left a club where any trophies would have been appreciated to one where they are expected. Let him burn in hell with the rest of the scum
But he didn't really.
And if he cannot survive under that kind-of pressure then how would he be able to cope under the pressures as Captain today - for club or for country? But by all means, he could be ready in a few years...

Exactly!
He said he would stay and then left once his contract had gone so he could pocket the signing money for himself...
It's a game of greed!

Not for the club it isnt. Spurs could have got quite a lot of money for a Cambell still under contract.
