That bit in the trailer with the knife under the door. It isn't in the film. When it comes up to that bit, it's an alien's hand instead of a paw.
There, that's the only clever bit in the film - the trailer was made to fool you!
The rest of it, Mel gibson questions his faith after his wife gets hit and killed by a car, his kids hate him and he sees aliens and aliens DO come to Earth and you see them and everything.
There you go, you don't have to waste your money on it now!

Umm, that's a little poorly thought out isn't it? Any humid day, the aliens would be wlking around burning up a la vampires due to the water content of the air...
> Paul Ross says it's a great film........Must be cack.
Mental Note: "Always do opposite of what Paul Ross says".
The gimmick M. Night Shyamalan used is having different footage in the trailer to that of the film. The bit where Gibbo approaches the door and uses the knife to look under is different. In the trailer you get a dog's paw, but in the film it's an alien's hand that reaches right under and he chops some of it's fingers off.
