Not out in the UK for a long while. However, alot of hype in Japan and I seen videos and pics and read stuff and here is my low down.
STORY LINE
Ok not very much is know about this eithr. However, set just before Resident Evil it embarks on an adventure with the S.T.A.R.S Bravo team. We see Rebbeca Chambers and the Bravo team embark on a case to investigate strange murders. they find out the Specer ansion and an abbandoned prison train. So half and half go each way to investigate. Rebbeca goes to the train and meets an ex navy Seal Billy Chen,found guilty of about 27 murders. They fight for their survival through the train and into the mansion.
From what i know in the original game Billy Cohen isn't there so does he die, or do a runner. I do not know.
NEW THINGS
Firstly we have a whole new gam. So we have a new story line with new monsters and new twists and turns. This should uncover all of the mistery surrounding The Umbrella Corperation.
Secondly a whole new playing system has been created. This is basically the ability to change between Rebbeca or Billy at any tme in the games. Also they will back each other up. So if they get surroounded by evil they will blast their way out together. All a good thing right. Wrong! If you think that 2 is better tha 1 then you are mistaken. This means 2 people to worry about dying. each play must be safe. Not so easy.
When you run around and you have loads of items Resident Evil Zero will let you drop them on the spot. So you can come back for them later. Bu this means that if you pt one down say in the train and go back later it might be a spiders nest. So not so easy again. You must remember where you left items but this means that you can dump useless herbs etc.
Obviously new bosses and monsters are gonna be in their, but from all of the videos it looks like there is one big enemy. A tall man wearing a pendant looks unspeakably evil. He (I think) will be like Nemesis but only better and kooler. He stands in a long white robe acting like a GOD. but is he a GOD, i do not know.
PEOPLE
????????????--- The evil man in the white robe. Tall long hair and wearing a pendant. Gleaming eyes and looking like a GOD, what havoc does he has in store for yooou hero's. Only CAPCOM know
Billy Cohen--- An ex Navy Seal who is obviously well trained, chraged with over 25 murders he is skilled and probably very kool. Scenes of him diving while firing his pistol look very very nice.
Rebbeca Chambers--- The one and only medic from Resident Evil. The yougest member of the S.T.A.R.S Bravo team. She only joined the team a couple of days before. She is well trained and a Rookie if you must, but she aint no Rookie in the original. She fights like a man she is one hell of a tough girl. But she can be sensetive too. nyway in Zero she has her first lead role where she gets to use many weapons and of course meet Billy
PLACES
Taking place on a train. a Prison train that has been stopped. It is filled with the undead with their moaning and groaning and their biting.
Then they move on to around and in the mansion. In gardens and wot looks like a basement and a lab.
ENEMIES
I have seen Zombies. The walking dead. the unstopable in force and they bite. the want food. and thats YOU.
HUNTERS--- Oh no they're back. and probably worse than ever, taking off heads and basically maintaining their terratory (like dogs)
Cricket like Spider things--- look like they spit poison and like to eat human so watch out
i have not seen dogs yet. BUT I BET THEY ARE THERE
WEAPONS
Ok i have seen pistols
your normal shooting weapon. Standard to start off with. as well as the trusty knife
SHOTGUN--- what would Zero be without the shotgun. Not Residnet Evil that is for sure. YES you can take of limbs and heads, jus like you shud
nothing else. But i bet there are some real nice weapons just lying around for yiu to wipe out the T virus with.
