"Telling a connection speed?"

hi people just wondering if anyone knew of any sites where i can test my connection speed, i had a mate who used to go to one but don't remember what it was called.

just i'm using works ADSL and was curious on there connection speed and the one on my home line (i know it's 512 but wanna see it's max speed)

Bah don't seem to work, might be the proxy i go through. i'll try it at home though thanx tom.

Works perfect, get my connection speed spot on!!!

There are several sites out there. I used one time ago but I forgot the name. The one Tom gave I think its quite a good one.
