That has to be the strangest question I've ever read. I assume he's got to the second level, where you first have to use ladders (I believe there are some in the first level, but you don't need to use them) but then he asks if he needs... the keyboard for the game... which.... means he HASN'T got to the second level or even the ladder in the first level, since he couldn't have walked WITHOUT one... What's up with that question?
You press the use key to go up ladders, as far as I can remember. Ain't played it in YEARS
