1. what is a buffer for? i hear dit had something to do with printers and storing prints for a while.
2. whats the name of the thing that holds data for ever. Something like bios or rom.
2. i cant remember the word something like CASHE its meant to hold more power or something. I need the name and what it does do.

a printer buffer would, yes

Rom is read only memory Ram is random access memory. I think.

Cache is the fastest type of memory on your computer, second in speed only to the CPU itself. After your cache memory comes your Ram, and then disks. This is called the memory hierarchy.
