It seems (and I am just going on what someone else has told me here) that Nintendo have sold their share in Rareware (25%) to Microsoft. I'm not aware if this is actually try (as I said, this is just what someone told me) but what WERE Nintendo thinking of? Selling their share of what is ultimately their most profitable company to Microsoft, who Nintendo are essentially completing with.

I'm sorry but that's just not right.

I've heard so many percentages from so many sources.

So I looked at Rare's official site.

Oh look, on www.rareware.co.uk it just happens to say 25%.

All wrong, am I? Don't blame me, blame my "informer", Edgy. How the hell I'm supposed to make any sense of anything when someone's saying one thing and someone else is saying another is beyond my comprehension. So leave me, alone.

Ahhh nuts to Rare, I'll miss their games but lets face it they only release 'em once in a blue moon. Gamecube is already selling superbly and so far without any help from Rare, I don't think this is gonna impact on sales much at all.

Oh and you may be intrested to hear the Starfox Adventures got 6/10 in a Japanease mag, the Japs are RPG mad so maybe it's not all that. I'll still be getting it cause it looks superb but maybe Rare have lost some of their sparkle.

At least we wont have to be ar$ed around by the Twycross coders anymore, 2 weeks and this boring speculation may be over with. One plus point in all this is we get to see the back of Diddy Kong and all his other gimp friends.

your all wrong, Nintendo own (or did own if this is true) 49% of Rareware which is considerably more than 25% Darkus Markus :D anyways, seems thats what has happened has happened it could have a huge impact on gamecube sales but it might not, Mirocsoft might sell more consoles because of this aleged deal but they may not, only time will tell but i have a feeling that when and if they start working for Microsoft the quality of their games may go down due to Microsoft wanting to rush out games as opposed to Nintendo allowing numerous delays, whatever happens, we'll just have to wait and see...
