Talking about Iraq, Blair largely just restated current policy.
He did, however recognise the need for stabilising reform in the middle east.

Raising the issue of how he seemed so right-wing on what he labelled terrorism and so left on the likes of kyoto, he rambled for a bit and changed the subject to the EU and globalisation.
To me, this just shows he acknowledges his own hypocracy, and acknowledges that he can't justify it acceptably.
But he'll try to mumble til we all forget about it or give up.

Bragged about unemployment levels, the minimum wage etc. Fair enough.

Criticised the US's steel tarrifs. Sign of a backbone at last? Good stuff.

'Money isn't all the health service needs' sounds like he's not giving any money.

The one point that struck me most though, was when he stated that had at this time last year, sept 10th, he had spoken of taking military action against terrorism, he would have received the same public reaction as for action against Hussein now.
Cheap shot, abusing the sept 11 tragedy for his political spin without any credible or significant foundation. Disgraceful.

Anyone else watch it / seen the highlights yet?
