There has been many arguements over recent times about which Nintendo character would win in an out an out fight. Super Smash Brothers was brought out to try and ease the tension (and so that you could kick some Pika-butt) but it only heightened things to a whole new level of tension between die hard fans of the legends. Now Nintendo's greatest Characters go head to head to decide the hardest Nintendo Character once and for all in the Federation Of Nintendo Characters (FONC for short)
Round 1
Link Versus Mario
Having these 2 giants getting drawn together in the first round was always going to be a thriller. Sky had bought the rights for the match, 10 Million viewers from all around the world tuned in to see it. In the end it was all a little lack lustre as Mario, worn out from his 'Sunshine' adventures gave in to Links offer of a Pizza hut meal. Sky lose £300 million in advertising, Mario geeks all burn their red 'M' hats and Zelda fans jejoice. everyone is happy.

Pikachu Versus Jigglypuff
This battle of the Pokemon is something that Pokemon Fans and Fat Geeks have been waiting for since they first laid there hands on Pokemon Red. For all it was worth though, this match soon turned into a press conference, and an interesting one at that. Jiggly was fuelling the media with new games and possible release dates, but it was Pikachu who stole the show. In a moment of madness Pika annouced he was to bring out his own console: The PS CHU. Jiggly was left out cold, Pikachu got the win. PS CHU is rumoured to be released in December with 20 release games. More on that in another post.

Luigi Versus Koopa Troopa
Luigi, not wanting his 'Mansion' success to be forgotten in a hurry, was the first to enter this tournament. the Koopa Troopa was a last minute replacement for Ganondorf who pulled out after he found out that link would be in it. The green giant had brought his handy Hoover along with him to help. When the bell rang, Luigi jumped on the 'Troopa and sucked him up into the hoover, as well as his shell. He was just finishing his victory dance when the damn vacuum blew up: The Troopa had got inside his Koopsa Troopa unform and had started to bang about. A big shock but anything can happen in the world of FONC

Zelda Versus Peach
Zelda and Peach only each entered because there 'parteners' so to speak entered. Peach felt it neccesary to repay Maro kindness and Zelda... well she just needed to get away from Hyrule. Peach is not the only one who needs a break you know!In the end it was Peaches name that won it. After the initial 'Zelda Vs Peach' on the screen, it soon turned to 'Vs Daisy', then to 'Vs Princess' and back again. It turned out that the score baord men were having an arguement about Princess Peaches name, which turned out to be the deciding factor. As Zelda watched in amazement, Peach whipped out Toad and smoothered the fungus onto Zelda's Face. Pure Class.

Round 2 - Semi Finals
Pikachu Versus Peach
A match of Human versus Animal of which had a shocking result. Pikachu, after the win against Jiggly, was full of confidence and was evens to go on to the final. Peach, however, had not really had any skill in the First Round game and won due to Miyamoto's indecision. Pika wanted a quick end to the match and leaped straight in with his electric attack. Peach was quicker than that though and pulled out Toad to absorb the shock. Toad Fried, Pika was left with minimal energy so Peach could hit him for six with her 'brolly

Link Versus Koopa Troopa
Should've been an easy match for link to win, even after the win against Luigi, Koopa was the under dog. Down to pure luck, the Koopa Troopa managed to defeat poor Link. After the Hyrulian did his famous spin attack it looked as though it was all over. Link forgot that the shell would protect the Troopa, and was shocked when it popped out. So shocked in fact that he cut off his own hat, which he is never seen without. He was rushed to hospital where it was surgically put back together.

Peach Versus Koopa Troopa
And now we get the the present day, the final of the FONC games. An unlikely Final, especially considering the caliber of contestants that were in these games. Peach entered just because of her lover and Koopa Troopa, whom was the only reserve for any drop outs, was there just as a formality. there are tons of planes above the stadium, which is filled to the brim with over 70,000 people. The match has started and both competitors are refusing to move. Wait a minute, the skys gone black! Something is dropping from the sky! Wait a minute! It can't Be! BOWSER! NO! NO! BOWSER HAS DROPPED FROM THE SKY AND IS IN THE STADIUM! He has grabbed hold of peach and is high tailing it out of here! Koopa Troopa is the winner!

And there we have it, the all time hardest Nintendo character is the Koopa Troopa!
