Yesterday I bought Turok Evolution for XBox, when I got the game home and starting playing it I was very disappointed with my latest purchase I thought I’d give the game a chance and play it some more to see whether the game had anymore to offer, but noooo!, the games basically a heap of CRAP!.
I want to return the game to SR but do you think they'll let me do that?, If not please think up a really convincing excuse for me to use, I dont think 'this game is a heap of crap I want to return it' will go down well. I'm kicking myself because I should of rented before buying, anyway I think its too late now.

You should have bought it from game, yu can take it back within 10 days if you don't like it. I'd ask if you can send it back on the 'site bugs' forum.
I'm looking forward to those games too. Also really looking forward to Steel Battalion, Mech Assault and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Blinx & Spinter Cell are gonna be excellent - probably the two games I'm most looking forward to on XBOX.
Thanks guys and especially to Nomad Soul thanks to you I have now got my money back (apart from the £4 handling charge but who cares). I'm glad other people have the same views as me for Turok Evolution its a totally over-hyped game, there was a stage were I thought I was picking at it for the hell of it. I hope Blinx: The Time Sweeper and Splinter Cell dont turn out the same way, but I cant see that happening.
I expected more from the game as well. There are a few decent levels, but most of it seems to feel like your playing through for the sake of it rather than cause you want to. A few of the weapons are nice to use, but that about it really. HATE the flying levels.
At the moment I can't see this having a place in my collection for long.

there have been complaints in other chat furoms about this game, i've already advised my friend not to buy it without playing it first.
I think SR have a 10 return policy - so you should have no problems returning it or exchanging it for something else.
I'm disappointed with Turok Evolution too.
The levels which are outside in the jungle and in the mountains are quite good, but the flying bits and inside the reptilian bases levels are balls.
There's not enough savepoints and (after Halo) the enemy AI isn't up to scratch.
Overall I'd say it's an average, over-hyped game.
