I had the neo 2.5 dvd-r mode put in my unit.

Use the AR2 Disk 1. Not Disk 2. Disk 1.
Got me?
Disk 1.
Stick it in - Wait for it to load - select 'Start Game' - select 'Without Codes' - Wait for the thing to come up where it says to insert the game and press X - Swap AR2 Disk 1 for PSX backup - Press X - PS2 menu should appear with the memory card on the right and the PSX black disk on the right - Highlight the PSX disk and press X - The game should then boot. It will go to a black screen first but just wait for it to load.
And if you have a back-up of 'Fire Pro Wrestling G'.... or if you can get me a copy of it..... LET ME KNOW!
Ok?
Anyway, I'll take your word for it. But you say you want to use PSX backups on your PS2? If it is PSX, as in original Playstation games played on PS2, I think you can bypass the AR2 CD completly as they don't need a boot disk.
If it's PS2 games you meant, I haven't got a clue.
Buy the proper games, you phoney. ;-)
