Reading through the latest Official PS2 Magazine I found a section on the release of the Network Adapter in America on the 27 August. I was interested to read that American PS2 owners can now enjoy the pleasure of the online PS2 experience.
I had very little information on the European relaese of the Network Adapter as no plans have been finalised yet, but, if plans were made that European PS2 owners could finally have the opportunity to play their favourite games online against PS2 owners around the globe, wouldn't games made in America and Europe have to be the same, such as the code or PAL and NTSC etc.
If games in America wont work on European PS2's then they wouldn't be compatible over the internet right?
Games would have to be the same, so that means no more Winning Eleven 6 and Pro Evo, just one complete game with a different language setting???

I dont know much about this or the compatibility between games over the net, but it just entered my head while reading and I thought it may be a great problem for PS2 owners who are expecting to play PS2 games with players on the others side of the globe.

Any replies well appreciated.

Doubt the PAL, NTSC differences will be a big problem as the differences are small and they don't play a big part in a games design so I'm pretty sure they will be compatible. PAL and NTSC are just to do with how they are displayed on your TV.
Problems I see are with modem connections here in the UK, and also the lack of information from Sony as to how it will work and when we will see it.
