Fanboys, the people gamers hate. Fanboys, are usually children, who are either jealous they never got the latest gaming console, or that they are just one-sided that their console is the best.
Fanboys are, and will forever be, the most hated gamers. And with that, the most fanboys stem from the PlayStation 2 console. With the PlayStation 2 being the market leader in console gaming, with a cheap and affordable price, many younger children now have a PS2. With that, comes a smaller immaturity level than most older gamers. With the Nintendo product, it was always known to be the less-mature out of the consoles avaliable at the time. With most Nintendo games being colourful, and not of a violent nature. However, with more children now owning PlayStation2's than GameCube and Xbox, could this be the chance for Nintendo to be the mature console again. With Sony's attempts to widen their market, they have allowed for games like Britney's Dance Beat and Donald Duck's Quack Attack to be relased. Something, both the Xbox and the GameCube do not have. The PlayStation 2, is dominated with children, obsessed with games like Grand Theft Auto and SmackDown!3: Just Bring It, because they feel, it will make them more mature. Something that entises a younger gamer is a higher license, and in some cases, the younger gamers buy games with higher licenses than gamers who are over say 18. PlayStation2 FanBoys can not be easily described, they are in all shapes and sizes. However, one of the FanBoy's characteristics is the urge to slate other consoles.
Now, why would the GameCube, a game with Resident Evil, one of the most graphical violent games to be released this year be called immature? Is it because the GameCube's best games have a colourful feel? Or is it the job of the FanBoy?
The FanBoy that has been hpynotised by Sony will infact start to rename the GameCube...the gaycube
The 'GayCube' will now be the crappest of them all according to a PlayStation2 FanBoy. The 'GayCube' will have crap games, and the good games are nothing compared to the PlayStation2's. The PlayStation 2 will be declared better than the Xbox, because it simply has sold more in a longer period of time than the 'GayCube'.
The FanBoy will infact, enjoy taking the mickey out of other consoles, and will soon to accept paying £45 for a mediocre game.
But then there is another gaming console on the market, and that is Microsoft's creation, the Xbox. However, the FanBoy will rename this gaming console to something else...the X-flop
The 'XFlop' will now be the console gamers do not buy because it is large in size. FanBoy's will not buy the 'GayCube' because it is too small, and will not buy the 'XBox' because it is too big in size. Even though the point of buying a console is for playing games, the majority of gamers decide to buy a gaming console by its cosmetic appearance. Another excuse a PlayStation2 FanBoy will use to make fun of the XBox and the GameCube is the capabillity the PS2 has to play DVDs. The Xbox can play DVDs too (when a remote control is purchased) but FanBoy's will not know that. FanBoy's will also say the PlayStation 2 has more games, even though the PlayStation 2 has many awful games on the market, while both the GameCube and the Xbox seem to have more consistent good games than the PlaySation 2 had in its first year. Also, many of the old PS2 classics are now very tacky graphically compared to todays games.
But despite my views that there are a lot of PlayStation 2 FanBoy's, does not make me a FanBoy because I have not once made fun of the PlayStation 2, nor said the GameCube or the XBox is the better console. I personally, own a GameCube, but will purchase either an Xbox or PlayStation 2 at Christmas. My decision may be influenced by price in the end, but I will also consider what type of games both consoles have, and why I would enjoy playing on that console. The best console is the one that has the games YOU enjoy playing, so not everyone is going to enjoy playing the same console.

anyway your right,I,ve got a mono gameboy(the big fat ones) and i't has many great title's yet (no offence ps2 owners) ps2 has got a bucket load of BAD and some quility titles'if ownly the fanboys would just sit down and and just play on any good game whatever console it may be on!

yeah moderation, theres nothing worse than gimps with that old 'my console is better than you' arguement. I mean who gives a cr*p? I'd buy a console with a skoda badge on it if the games were good.
But the casuals don't annoy and get in your way as much where as the fanboys try to deafen you by screaming down your neck every 5 seconds "ps2 is the top or x-box could be a coffee table(all though I don't have a problem with any console,it's the games that count in the long run!

I think casuals will probably be the most hated type of gamer, because technically if there are 1,000 Ninty fanboys on this forum then there are 1,000 people who don't hate each other (if you get my meaning). Casuals are the most annoying type - I saw a guy in Game the other day buying a PS2 (which is crap), V-Rally 3 (which is crap) and Ring of Red (which is probably so aweful I've never heard of it).
