i was woundering when the Gamecube was going on-line, also will it have an hard drive to save large amounts of data like the Xbox. If it goes on-line how much will the fees be. Also what games are been developed for on-line play? does anyone know?

Perfect Dark Zero would be great online, and better if Rare didn't go multi-format.

The GameCube's already gone online in Japan, and unless I'm mistaken it should be happening in America in about a week. The release date for the UK is apparently early next year but nothing's been set in stone.

The GameCube doesn't need a hard drive to go online, but there'll probably be the choice of buying one to download music or add-ons for your games.

No-one really knows what the fees will be, some say it's going to be free, others say it will be £6.00 a month or £100.00 a year. It's all a bit shady.

Phantasy Star Online's the only confirmed one at the moment, but there are rumours of Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Racing, Mario Tennis, Pefect Dark Zero, Mario Golf and others being online games.

Only people inside nintendo know things like that. I guess that you will be able to go online using your current internet things, and it won't cost no more. Don't know for sure though.
