It would be PERFECT is Rare didn't go multi format.

I pray to god that these all happen!

The GameCube's already gone online in Japan, and unless I'm mistaken it should be happening in America in about a week. The release date for the UK is apparently early next year but nothing's been set in stone.
The GameCube doesn't need a hard drive to go online, but there'll probably be the choice of buying one to download music or add-ons for your games.
No-one really knows what the fees will be, some say it's going to be free, others say it will be £6.00 a month or £100.00 a year. It's all a bit shady.
Phantasy Star Online's the only confirmed one at the moment, but there are rumours of Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Racing, Mario Tennis, Pefect Dark Zero, Mario Golf and others being online games.
