Consider this. It's not quite casual, it's boring, suggests the parents didn't love their child, it can only be shortened to 'Tad', which is in turn the nickname for a slimey pool dweller; spawned from a frog and with only a 5% chance of surviving to adulthood. What's more everyone you know with the name 'Wayne' complains about their name until their inevitable demise/suicide/lawful name change. Finally the name 'Wayne' is responsible for making me waste time writing about it.. and in turn you'll waste time reading about it. Are we even allowed to write about names here??

In my semi-defense, semi-compliance (and fear of semi-hatred for a 'newbie').
There is more than one reason why tad is a good name
1. Firstly, as Rangy (can i call you that) said, the blondy bloke in neighbours is called tad(although not because his real name is wayne but because he is a younger cousin of the other bloke from neighbours, called 'Toady' hence he has a younger form of the name passed on to him)(maybe his real name is 'wayne', i dont know.frankly i dont want to know.it's knowledge i could do without.)
2.It fits in well for arcade game scores when you register your name.
3.Yeah! Wayne's world.Watched that movie(and it's sequel) 1000s of times.
4.The 'Wayne'kerr jokes.
5.(Getting off the point here)Stu is a crappy name. The guy in rugrats is called that and i hate that show... That's why im called stu2. if you make it rhime then everything will be ok.
6.'Even swtuart'?? cant argue there.how the hell do you pronounce it? old law of language: Dont miw 's's with 'w's with 't's. unless you put the letter 'a' in the middle to make 'swat'. handy word that.
