here are the specs.......
AuthenticAMD Family 6 Model 4 1102 MHz (i think thats an athlon)
512 MB ram (29% Utilized)
19.07 GB hard drive (2.96GB used)
Here are the problems....
1) the screen goes blank while in the middle of doin something, when you move the mouse or tap the keyboard nothing happens. when pressing ctrl-alt-delete twice, nothing happens.
2) for such a supposedly fast pc it is very slow compared to my friends of exactly the same spec, and it often jams

what can i do about that if it is a processor problem?

no i didn't, they just came recently.

First try this: go into control panel then to power options, it gives you options like turn off monitor and a time next to it, change them all to never. This may not work but it’s the easiest thing to try.
what should i do?
