The new gta comming out MAY NOT COME OUT ON PC but all us pc owner that don,t have a ps2 will miss out on driving golf buggs and speedin down th highway on aa motobike and then chilling on the beachthen maby stealling a helicoptor and flying around vice city who else wants it to come out on pc

PC owners will just have to wait a few months (after the Christmas rush probably?) before they can get their grubby mitts on them?

I don't see what the problem is anyway, Vice City had been confirmed for the PC, so it will be available for PC gamers, it's just they'll probably have to wait a little longer than PS2 owners.

Anyway, Mafia is out soon, and six months before the PS2 version, and from what I've seen it looks every bit as good as GTA3, so not all is lost.

There's nothing at all to say that it won't be out on PC as far as I'm aware. Rockstar have signed a GTA series exclusivity deal with Sony until 2004, but as far as I know, that doesn't affect the PC at all - only other console formats.

The deal was signed before GTA3 came out on PC, and that still arrived - but a few months later, because they agreed a six-month (or there abouts) total exclusivity deal too. The same may happen with Vice City, but I think a PC version is pretty inevitable.

I don't actually have one, but I know they do exist. I had one for PS1, and they work fine, just buy a controller for your PC with all the controls a PS2 pad has (now why are such things available eh?), and all the controls are at your fingertips.

However, it's generally recommended that you keep an image file of the DVD on your hard drive for them to work properly, so you'd best have a fair amount of space free.

And I can't play this weekend, as I'm off to wales to see in person how my family has inexplicably fallen apart in my absence.

wow i never new sch a thing existed. um how well they work and how well do the controls turn out and stuff? I'd appreciate it if you'd email me the link of were to get it and also do you wan't a game of warcraft over the weekend? (email is in my warcraft thread)

Today children, I'm going to download a PS2 emulator for my PC, not one that runs illegal ROMs, but one that allows me to play PS2 DVDs in my PCs DVD player.

With this completed, I can play any PS2 game on my PC.

Magic.

whta kind of a question is wo else wants it on the PC? everyone of course. Rockstar have sold their soul to sony and betrayed thei PC roots. If the games weren't so good i'd boycott them!
