Unfortunately I'm not that deranged.

Err... OK. I have a few links with the Manics. My mate engineered a few tracks off EMG, TIMTTMY and produced Freedom of Speech.. off KYE. If you look on the sleeve his name is Greg Haver. He's more or less best mates with Bradfield who coincidentally lives in the same block of flats as me. Greg has been house sitting for Bradfield for the last year or so therefore I get to go over his flat and borrow his DVD's and play the variety of guitars he has hanging around (most of them are wedging open doors n stuff).
Apart from that I've done a couple of musical things that have involved the Manics one way or another. I got asked to help write a song for Patrick Jones' (Nicky's bro) album 'Commemmoration and Amnesia' for which I wrote the music to 'Autonomy'. That lead to a variety of Manics related gigs including one where Bradfield did a solo acoustic slot in Blackwood to raise money for Kosovo. The Pat thing then did a few tour gigs of which I was involved in. The band was made up from a variety of artists who had contributed to the album. We did Cardiff Uni, Caerphilly Castle and Reading and Leeds Festivals. After that we got invited to play the Manic Millennium opening the show.
To be honest I really wasn't into the Patrick Jones stuff but playing some decent size gigs was a damn good crack, and the royalties weren't bad either.

There was no name, it was just Patric Jones. Maybe he should have put "and his allstar band" on there too.
