I had an idea for a game last night, and here is what I came up with. Please feel free to tell me any improvements you suggest.

Introduction

You are Shiguru Miyamoto, the biggest and best games designer in the world. On a normal day you usually go around Nintendo HQ adding bits of sparkle and Nintendo Polish (TM) to games. On one day, you feel like a change, so you go on holiday to Isle Delphino for a whole week.

Upon returning to Nintendo HQ you receive news that all the ideas for new games have been stolen. For some unknown, bizarre reason, the police take you as a prime suspect. You know that it was Bill Gates and you must set out to prove you innocence

Level 1 - Prison

After being arrested, you are thrown in a PC jail, where computers protect all the cells. In this level you must be patient, and wait for Windows to crash, leaving all cells open. This usually takes around 30 seconds.

After leaving the cell, you must use your stealth to get past Robo-Nerds, who are well known for their allegiance with Bill Gates. Robo-Nerds are like normal Nerds, but robots and have many more sets of braces. If they get too close you must shout 'October the 4th!' (Release date of Super Mario Sunshine), which will cause every Robo-Nerd within a 100-metre radius to cry uncontrollably, or try to out bore them in conversation, which is a near impossible task.

You must also try and find some glasses as well as an encyclopaedia so you can get past the high Geek, protector of the prison by impersonating Bill Gates. Not an easy task, but a rewarding one.

Level 2 - The streets

This level sees you out on the streets, which now have been run over by ported games and lifeless graphics. Your first opponents will be the 100's of clones that flood Fifa games. When you encounter them you must run to the nearest newsagents and buy a copy of The Official Nintendo Magazine then show them screenshots of ISS2, which makes them shudder in fear.

After that it is a case of dodging skateboarders and Bikers as they speed past you doing kick flips and ollies on their way. Dependant on how well you do, you will either face Tony Hawk or Mat Hoffman. Tony Hawk takes a bit of work to beat as he rampages at you doing all the skateboarding moves under the sun, but with Mat you can simply kick his bike and make him fall over.

Miyamoto then has to run around town, deactivating 'Price Droppers' which starts at £300 drop steeply to nearly half price in only a short space of time. If you let it drop below £160 then the Microsoft HQ goes down in flames, taking your precious ideas with it, so you must stop the 3 'Droppers scattered around the city.

Video Sequence

After stopping the 3rd price dropper short video sequence plays, which shows 1000's of X-Box owners taking to the streets and denying that the X-Box is going down in flames.

Level 3 - Streets Part 2

It now turns into a First Person Shoot 'em up where you, armed with only a pistol and unlimited ammo have to shoot angry X-Box owners whilst dodging and diving the lethal 10 stone objects, otherwise known as 'Official X-Box Control Pads', which are being thrown at you by the mobs. After 10 minutes of this, a large 'passenger' helicopter fly’s overhead and picks you up...

Level 4 - Flight Simulator

The most boring level of the whole game, where you simply press the 'auto pilot' button and wait for 10 hours for the plane to land. If you get bored you can dress up as an airhostess and give sedatives to the passengers on board.

Level 5 - Microsoft Headquarters

Your helicopter lands at Microsoft HQ and you have only 10 minutes to get to Bill Gates office. By following the whimpers and cries of 'WHY?' which you hear, it is easily found.

Then comes the relentless task of killing Bill Gates. By using an Apple Mac PC in an office (they don't trust windows) you print off some fake documents about the Windows operating system being 'reliable' and 'the best ever'. You slip these under his door and wait for the loud 'splat' of him falling to his death.

Then you enter his office and have to find the ideas, which Bill stole. You have to sift through 100's of reports, written by Bill Gates himself, about Miyamoto giving the Mario Empire to Microsoft or Zelda being won by Microsoft in a court case, until you find them.

Level 6 - The Exit

You then have to set a trap before you leave - a GameCube linked up to a television, playing an import of Super Mario Sunshine. You then have to run before the whole building realises what real game play is and self-destructs...

Video Sequence

Shows Miyamoto running out of Microsoft HQ with the building blowing up in the background. Miyamoto is then hailed a hero, and Apple becomes the main operating system across the world, and crashes are no longer a part of P.C. ing.
