Anyway my idea was a game called Theme School. You start as a teacher and have to try to build the school. You have to hire and fire teachers depending on their ability. You have to make the canteen food edible! (The ultimate challenge) You can start a school football team, but if the PE is no good they will lose and school morale is bad. If you win though your morale goes up.
You could have inspections and you have to try and make them go smoothly, parents evenings etc. etc. The possibilities are endless. You have to design the school so building the a massive gym will mean less room for Science labs, but then you can have exams in the gym. You will have to stop the teachers going on strike, order supplies, make sure the pupils behave. There is loads of possibilites, but a programmer would have to involve real school goers.
