With Skateboarders, inline skaters and Bmx's performing tricks on the ramps situated outside Earls Court.
Then there was the thousands of people queuing to get in, when you did get in you were greated by massive projections of a whole host of AAA games like The Getaway, Stuntman, Smackdown, Lord of the Rings, Onimusha 2 the list goes on and on.
There must have been 500 ps2 connected to widescreen TV's with, all sorts of multiplayer fun going on, a on-line demonstration of Capcom's shell shaded racer 8 of us playing I came 3rd.
You could hardly get near Tekken 4 and Lord of the Rings which looked particularly impressive.
Then there was Kieron Dyer launching TIF2003 and Radio 1 DJ Emma B, rappers, break dancers and competitions. The whole event was very well organised even things like staff showing you how to play games like the Getaway which is not a Xmas killer ap I don't know what will be.
Playstation is in the sole and has tapped into what it means to be a gamer and culture that goes with it this is why PS2 rules because it is hip, happening and trendy not a kiddies machine or a uninteresting mid ranged PC (Xbox). Not to mention the best AAA Xmas range on any format GTA3 6million sold Halo 1million i rest my case.
The nearest you got to a taste of NInty and MS was in the ECTS trade show next door pity they didn't let any of the general public. Still never mind at least Sony know how to put a good show on for the users.

Whats the problem, so i said there are plenty of games on PS2. There are a few on PC (the Sims is good), a few on GameCube (Rouge leader is alright), and a few on XBox (Halo).

Given the content of your last 20 or so threads, I wouldn't go by any opinion of yours, since it is likely riddled with folly.
Instead, I put my trust in professionals to give me a first impression. If I like the first impression, I'll download a demo. If the impression plus the download equals an impressed Mr Ripper, a purchase is on the cards.
If however, 50 online reviews tell me to keep as much distance as possible between me and a game, I won't give the game the time of day.
That way I don't waste 6 hours playing games I won't end up wanting.
See?
