I would also have liked to see Defoe and Vassell given more chance and I think people like Seamen maybe left out because Sven knows what he can do and aslo Seamen is coming to the end of his career therefore the likes of Robinson maybe the way forward? who knows.
Smith could be Interesting upfront, if he can control his temper maybe he can become a better player for club and country, we all said we dont actually know who is the best partner for Owen yet.
I'm glad to see Martyn out of the picture (never been a fan) and can understand why Seaman isn't there. As far as the world is concerned, he is still number 1 and it's up to the others to prove their worth.
Oh, and I see Keown misses out...probably due to the fact that he's played pretty ABYSMALLY so far this season.

Yep, all other areas of the field are fine but not infront of goal. If I had to chose it would be Owen and Smith for the friendly. Heskey doesn't come in my good books.
