Well, the awards where interesting werent they, plenty of good choices and the odd comment from eminem towards Moby, saying he would knock his bald block off, which was funny and of course, the final act.

Yes, after so many passed, musically empty and abandoned years, Guns and Roses finally came to play on stage at the last minute at the MTV awards!
But i must say, the name of the band doesnt really live up to its high standards of so long ago...

Axels voice has had a sharp drop, like his status, down to the level of a normal adult. With him frontlining the band, his voice needed to be good, and sadly it just screeched against the hum of the original tunes. Also his clothing proves that he is a tryhard! He wanted to take the band into a new age techno style about 6 years ago according to slash, and he was right, just by looking at his clothes, he has abandoned the rock age and given into society, something Slash has yet to do.

As for the rest of the band, with the masks? What was that about, thats just to attract little 12 year olds who think rock is about death and destruction with the hormones raging. Also the guy who has silently taken over from Slash, with the KFC bucket on his head, i mean, that just took the p*ss out of the band. The drummer, nothing wrong there.

Its a shame society crushed Axels mind, because we could have had Slash and Izzy continuing the band in the true rock n roll way, but sadly Guns and Roses have had there final act...

I have to say, I love Guns N Roses. Have done from an early age, probably because of my brother always used to listen to them. When I heard they were coming back, I was excited because I thought I'd finally be able to see them live, but it's not Guns N Roses, it's Axl Rose trying to extend the dream of being the best band in the world.

Buckethead does like a fool, but to be fair, if he can play the guitar like Slash, he could wear whatever the hell he wants on his head and I'd still admire him.

I'd still love to see them live, even if it is just Axl and a new band. To hear the Sweet Child O' Mine solo live...

To say I was devistated by the lame excuse for a band that graced the stage would be an understatement. Guns N Roses were and to an extent still are my fave all time band. They were the greatest thing to fall from the late 80's. I've been to every UK show, bought ever album and worshiped them in my teens... but WTF was that?

Bucket Head on guitar... the line up from ex NIN members... WTF? This isn't the most dangerous band in the world... this is a JOKE!

I'm gutted, I'm distraught. the nand of my teenage agnst is no more...

Please tell me this wasn't real...

Oh well
