You put all your effort into looking good for them, treat them right and with respect, try to be a gentleman, a good boyfriend and get nothing back in return. You try to find a nice one but get nowhere due to not looking like a member of the Blazin' Squad. You try and stay friends with one you've been with previously and every moment you spend together as friends cuts you like a knife when you leave her. What's the point? Why do I bother? I get the same treatment every time I do it.

Although I don't miss the nagging "Where were you? Who were you with?" etc, and the arguments, it is nice to just have someone to cuddle up with after a long day. That's the sort of stuff I miss
