Think about it, the realistic elf-look for Link on the N64 made the game an instant classic. What were Miyamoto's intentions for Zelda's new look? I think I read somewhere, that one reason he gave the game a new look was to be able to manipulate the characters' facial expressions. Is this true? If it is, I would much rather the game keep the older look and sacrifice the option of changing characters' facial expressions.
I know that the gamecube has the capabilities of making Zelda look sharp and realistic. I was stunned by the first images that I saw with Link fighting Ganondorf. They were absolutely fantastic. I couldn't wait until that game got released. Why not keep that look, instead of disappointing almost every Zelda fan. I'm pretty sure that anyone that had ever loved Ocarina of Time, or last year's sequel, Majora's Mask, agrees with my opinion.
The only way I feel this new game will sell, will be if the gameplay itself is extraordinarily good. I might buy the game anyway because I am such a huge Zelda fan and love playing 3rd person RPGs. Others, however, most likely will not. If it is at all possible, I would strongly suggest changing the look back to the original. If not, then I guess all we can do is wait and see how the game does when it's released next year.
p.s what does JAT stand for
Best JAT topic I've ever read.
> nothing personal but how would I upset people by writing good post's
By writing other posts that are pointless.
> may I just ask why?
