The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
So while the address will always say, "www.phi11ip.com/frames.htm" The pages that you will be looking at will be from my Freeserve webspace.
I got unlimited internet and I got 120mb of webspace with FS.

The words Cheeky and Monkey spring to mind.

erm... well....
With regards to file uploads, you don't technically have to connect to freeola to do so. You can't access FTP unless you are on a Freeola connection, but you could make a Perl/PHP script to do so. This is against the Freeola Terms & Conditions though - they say they consider it to be a hacking attempt!
With regards to email, do what I used to do: Forward all emails to another email address, then use something like Outlook Express and set the 'From' address to your domain address.
What I have started doing recently is doing a webmail system for sending emails. You are NOT allowed to do this on your Freeola web space though (not if you want it to appear as though it comes from your Freeola domain). You could however do it on other web space which offers CGI - e.g. Lycos....
The decision, is yours!
