I fastly approached my import game shop hoping and preying that my Mario Sunshine import copy would be waiting for me. As i approached the counter he smiled back and said 'How may i help you', finding it hard to speak i asked 'Have you recieved my Mario Sunshine American Copy', he smiled back and replied 'yes'. As i gently snatched the bag containing Mazza's adventure in, i ran back to my car. The Journey home took ages even though it's normally a 20 minute drive. Running inside my house i ripped opened the game and pushed the lid up, slotting the beautiful disc into the tray i gently but madly shut the lid and turned the gamecube on...
And here it was, the story begins with Mario glancing happily out of an aeroplane window, while Peach and Toad sit happily waiting to land on the island's runway, as they approach their holiday resort their Tv screen comes on and the inhabitants welcome them!! Suddenly Peach is suprised to see Mario running riot at the back of the screen but to her amazement Mario is sitting Happily next to her thinking about the islands food. 'Mario??' she says in her cute but high pitched voice. As they land dreadfully on the runway due to some gloop, Mario can be controlled for the first time and has to find Fludd, the jetback, his voice sounds nothing short of Bart Simpson like CUBE magazine said in their lastest issue. The islands police then take Mario to court and put him in Prison after a Picture of the villian looks identical to him, what now???!!
Forget the Terrible screenshots put in all the magazine's, Mario adventure is truly wonderful to look at, if i was to say to you the water looks better then Wave Race's then you have an idea. The whole Island is colourful and alive, and there is so much to see and do that it's a little scary at first. I have been to about 3 different islands but i have only collected 5 Shines in Two Hours, there's a 120 to collect!!! It's not that difficult but it's starting to get a little complicated already. I have killed 2 bosse's: A Massive squid, {where you have to rip off it's tenticles, and a paranha plant, that you have to feed with water until it's fall up and then lays on it's back, leaving you time to butt stump it!!! Both require little thought but are so fun, you won't care. The controls are superb and you won't have no trouble doing anything to be honest. The sound is superb, and the tunes are bold and catchy. Now if you were worried that Mazza's Adventure would be like Luigi's Mansion you have another thing coming, it's totally different and so much better that Luigi's Mansion looks extremly rushed. The levels are HUGE and can all be seen from a distance, a neat touch is that the air sways so you get the feeling of heat, it's that good!!! You can save your game anyway by selecting start, but everytime you get a Blue coin or Shine, it ask's you if you want to save. Another thing to tell you is that water is very easy to get when you run out, it's not like Resident Evil where there's one gun clip in 3 hours of Gameplay.
I don't really want to tell you anymore {i don't want to ruin anything for you} but if there's any questions you want to ask me about Mario Sunshine, i will answer as many as i can, thanks for reading :)

No idea, you'll have to ask him that.

But is it really making your life a living hell by having a few extra topics floating about?

No offense to you Whitestripes...but shutup.

I understand you could be annoyed with so many topics clogging up the forum, but if this man wants to share his opinion on one of the biggest Nintendo releases of all-time...then let him.

Please, dont think i'm having a pop at you.

No offence to your nicely written post there, but we've had about 7 'first impressions' of Sunshine now. We really don't need any more. I dread to think what this forum will be like on it's UK release day...
