Now everyone has diffrent veiws on things and in here the most diffrent veiws ive seen in here are always which console is best.
Wow hang on dont go yet this isnt another consoles war topic, well it wont be when i finish this it might when some idiot, naming no names, comes in and decides that he needs to have a go at another console.
Anyway what im posting is what would the computer gaming world be like if freindship ruled, ill look at freindship between the 3 companies and how it would effect the console they come up with.
First the companies.
Some people say that it would be good if all the companies, sony, microsoft and nintendo, were to join together and make one console which everyone developed for.
This is one very big mistake as this could not own ruin our gaming experience but also the companies them selfs.
You can see it now the news that they have all joined up, the gaming world would be estatic with the thought of it.
Then the day they show the console, this would then put any body in disbelieve straight and also everyone staying up at night thinging about the console, touching the console and playing with the console.
Then the actual release of the console, and where the reality smacks you in the face maybe harded then when you realised that tony blair had been voted in again.
First it would start with the price, becuase there is no competition the console will cost what ever the 3 companies decide.
Then with that out the way it would be the lines of people waiting to buy the console, becuase there is only one everyone will want it so everyone will be there, instead of 1/3 buying such and such new console and then
the others in the next week or so.
Then that would also lead to shortages of the console, meaning most people will go home with out the console.
So then say that after about 6 months everyone has the console, broke or not as the case maybe. So they set it up and begin to play a game, this is where one of two things could happen.
1. switch it on and get blown away by the power of the beast.
or
2. switch it on and wonder if you have the leads are plugged in right becuase the graphics are bad.
Now both cases would be becuase they are together, 1 would happen becuase they have the power and no how behind them, 2 becuase they have no competition so you arn't able to buy another one so your stuck with the console or nothing at all.
but say 1 happens and everyone is happy.
Next would be the games. the price could be anything, explained in console bit and the same with the graphics and gameplay.
But say all that turns out for the best, whats happening behind close doors?
The 3 main men would argue all the time as they would all have diffrent opnions and also they would argue whos console before the super console was better.
Games would be rubbish as what one company leader would like the others dont so the end result is a load of diffrent styles mashed up into one big game, leaving it with good ideas but not worked well.
So its a good thing to have more than one console becuase any of that could happen,the best for gaming would be to actually only have 2 console, that way rich people can afford both and miss out on any games.
And people with only one console wont miss many games.
Also the companies would feel more at threat from the others and drop prices REALLY low and make better games.
