Konami had a deal done with quite a lot of companies to make the Pro Evolution Soccer 2 Championships possible.
But now PlayNation (Who Konami were relying on for Advertisement campaigns) has ceased production and have closed.
Konami are now unsure whether the Championship will take part.

LOL, I just found out that PES2 is being sponsored by Umbro (Sports manufacturer)
...and Vittel (Mineral water company)
PES2 is taking control of the Earth, to day it's the mineral water companies, tomorrow.... the world.
OK, now I REALLY can't wait until it's released, we've had no definite release and I've already started twitching.
