AS you know, I am a Pumpkins fan, big time. SO i hunted around HMV for a while today. I found a DVD of their greatest hits. If you like the Pumpkins, buy it!

Used to really like the Pumpkins but then I stopped bothering with them for a while.
I was watching MTV about a year ago and saw the video for "Untitled". Am I right in thinking that was their "good-bye" song?
If it was then fair play to them. In my opinion that is the best song they have ever done. Talk about saving the best for last :-)

I saw them on their farewell tour at the birmingham NEC, as live experiences go it was middling. Billy Corgan, ever the witty raconteur, spoke 3 words during the entire evening and refused to do an encore. The set list was composed mainly of Machina I, II and what later turned out to be III, which weren't too good, and a smattering of classics.
It was good, yes, but the highlight of the show was the Everlasting Gaze, and if you think of the Smashing Pumpkins' entire back catalogue, that song should never be able to steal a show.
