Pretty nice draw for Man United there. Should be fairly easy...but you never can be sure really...

Doesnt look too bad for Arsenal, but thier away form in Europe shows it doesnt really matter who they get....

LOL @ Newcastle...

Liverpool could have a dodgy time. Basel knocked out Celtic, and Valencia are the spanish champs...

Maccabi are new to the champions league, the first israeli team to qualify for the championship. Good news we gotta go to Cyprus to play them and not Israel.

Why is it that we always seem get drawn along with the same old names??
Strange that...
Probably something to do with how these teams repeat the success of each season over and over (with one or two exceptions).

But I don't see us failing to progress from here. :)
Leverkusen may still be a threat, but without Ballack and co. they're only weaker. Olympiakos are a pretty unpredictable team, so we'll need to look-out for them, and expect anything. As for Maccabi Haifa, who the hell are they??? I don't think i've ever seen those Israelis in the Champions' League before! All I know is that Walid Badir used to play for them before he joined Wimbledon.

Bayer are a much depleted team. Ballacks gone off to Bayern and quite a few of their other players have left as well. This should be an easier fixture than last year

Good luck....

Bayer are a much more disciplined team. Mind you, the other two team aren't exactly brilliant so Man U should be able to get through this stage.

what about that Group G eh? Now that's what i call a group of death. Arsenal's isn't that easy either as well what with PSV and Dortmund and Auxerre are dangerous with Cisse up front but ah well who cares do them good to experience a tough group might deflate Wengers head a little. I had to laugh when he said Man United shouldn't be allowed in seeing as they never won the league. This coming from the man quite happy to enter the championship when his team failed to win for 3 years in a row
