As I will be getting this Playstation 2, I was wondering if there was anyway of buying speakers that will make use of Dolby Digital 5.1. I would like to know about the price it would cost just for Dobly Digital Speakers, and if there is anyway to hook them up to the Playstation 2 without having a Widescreen T.V???

You will need to buy a Dolby Digital Amp, a magnetically shielded centre speaker, 4 surround speakers and a subwoofer and then use the optical connector from the back of your PS2. There is a company ,(I think it is called Digitheatre), that sells a home theatre kit for around £300 but I don't know how good the quality is. Alternatively, if you want a hi-fi set-up try Richer Sounds as they usually have some pretty good deals on but expect to spend around £500 upwards.
