Host a couple of MP3's?
I've got some mastered tracks of my band I feel like sharing but on a 56k modem, it'll take forever to upload 35mg.
Is there a site or a method where I can directly link to my desktop or pc without having to upload them?
I'm not all that savvy on techno stuff

If its loads of stuff. Send me a CD if you want, I will compress it into a beautifully sized mp3 for each track and then upload them for you.

Its still gonna take all night.
You need to re-encode the mp3's down to a decent size first unless you can upload them from a cd-rom on a fast server at work or something.

Put them on Kazaa/whatever sharing programme you use (if any)
I can't upload 35meg on a 56k, it'll take all bloody night.
Msg me on MSN Goaty and I will give you details so you can upload to my webspace and then people can download from there.

How about upgrading to a cable modem (if possible), those 56k relics aren't much cop now....

What bitrate did you encode them at???
You could whitle them down to 2 or 3 meg each and still have decent quality.
Whatever connection people have its only gonna be as fast as the host machine connection so you're better off uploading them in an evening and being done with it.
