I've read that Japanese Dreamcast owners are getting an similarly updated version, but there are currently no plans to release it elsewhere.

A few days after I got the Dreamcast version I read about the extras being done to the PS2 game. Isnt this just typical, not slating the DC version in any way its a great game but I wish I had waited now, Damn it!! Sounds like they have really gone to town on PS2 and added what was needed to the game.

Apparently they've added quite a bit, according to P2 magazine...

80 new costumes, 5 new game modes, CG gallery mode, UPS mode, Collection mode, and Battle Record mode. There are also a host of new interactive stages to plough through.

"Where the Dreamcast version was cast out onto a hungry public, the PS2 version has been held back for refinement." (It says here) And the Dreamcast version seems good enough!


Of course, I've not played it, so I don't know exactly what difference all the extras make, but it's on my Xmas list!

Apparently not often enough, as you still find time to come on here in vain attempts to knock PS2.

It's odd how you keep saying that, as I don't ever recall a PS2 resolution being mentioned in any of the reviews.

Still, when a game looks as good as this, who cares about the resolution. Feeble attempt at raising an argument.

I have it on Dreamcast - couldnt wait for the PS2 version. It really is an amazing game, very short though, it feels as if more should have been added. Easy to complete but excellent moves and combos and one of the best beat em ups out there....with the bonus of lots of BIG breasts!!!

Unless they have enhanced the 1-player gameplay in the UK release in some way then only get this if you have someone else to play against (It takes approx. 5 - 6 mins to complete the game with any given character, yawn).
