Looking down the topics in this forum i think i have counted about 2/3 topics saying that the GC is childish!
Stop with this crap all ready. Everyone knows ths is not true but some of you will not get it into your stupid little heads!
Let's take a look at why everybody calls the console childish.
1. The graphics on most games are cartoony.
2. Games like GTA3 are not on any nintendo console.
3. It is considered the family console, i.e. little kids and their parents.
4. Has cute little characters.
5. Has pokemon!
Well all of that is pretty wrong.
Let's look at some of the new titles coming out, yes we have Marrio Sunshine(cartoony but great) but Eternal Darkness, Resident evil Biohazard and Zero. There are all read games like Bloody Roar which is a beat em up and is not really for children but more adolecents/ adults.
So based on these facst we can see that the GC has not got all cute little critters that hop around on screen, unless you like zombies coming at you, but i ain't one to judge.
Even if some games are graphically like cartoons does that make them childish, no. Some of the anime graphics look good and go well with the style of play. I like cartoony graphics, and i don't really classify as being childish!
So enough with all these stupid commments and feel free to argue the case it is childish in here because i will keep coming up with reasons why it is not!
