Review about midnight when I get back.
Barfly next, so that mad Maharishi DJ bloke dropping Public Enemy and being all serene.
Jesus what an oven that was tonight.
1st band on "The Bookoo Movement" - standard "chugga-chugga-chugga" in your usual Blink41GreenSum187day kind of way. Arrogant buttmonkeys as well.
Played to about 14 people.
Hur hur hur
We play and decided the set the night before by pulling the songs out of a hat and playing in that exact order. Obviously this was a serious, industry gig...yeah right.

Coming Home
Sold the place out, hot as hell and drank me water after 3 songs. Old man smashed out of his tree dancing down the front, singing along despite never having seen us before.
Jo's there to play Sax on Lonely Hearts for the 1st time in about 9 months, sounded fantastic.
The place was rammed with women, or as Chris leans over and shouts half-way through "B##ches everywhere, it's a nipple ranch". And he's correct.
Spy 2 by the bar that seem to like Goaty's smashy smash routine.
Finish set, leave drums up for the headline band to use
YAY, no rushing to get them off and broken down.
Drink another 2 pints of water, get a phone number from one of the lovelies and watch the headline act, "Fancy Dress".
They're ok, novelty act with a Japanese girl singing that blatantly can't, just short choppy verses and lots of "AI! AI! AI! AI! AI!".
All in all a superb night, played well and went down a storm. Couple of labels there, nodding and bobbing their heads before leaving at the last song.
Balls to them, we stopped being impressed by A&R a long time ago.
Oh and Ali? You should've been there mate, loads of wimmin.
And I could've given you a lift, so nyar nyar nyar!
:op
Ali: "Can I get a lift home?"
Goaty: "I'll drive you to the moon if I gets my knob polished."
And did I get a lift home?
(damn you)
Have a good smashy smashy
