PS2 £170
Cube £130
While they're loosing even more money by allowing them to go for an even cheaper price, what they should be doing it using the money they have to buy-up some decent 3rd Party Developers to create some stunning and exclusive games for their Box only.
It costs something like £325 to make just one X-Box, apparently...
Look at how much they're loosing NOW! Even if Gates is in-charge.
Another price-drop isn't really going to change things, except for the fact that the X-Box will start to appear as a real joke to us all.
Let's see that n00b from the X-Box forum defend his console now!! :D
But this price drop does make it better for me....
When the new Championship Manager game comes out, I can get it with the console for only £200! Nice.

So, friday we get more price cuts. Great stuff :^D
Thus PS2 - most expensive, a few exclusives, but also oldest and most dated. Has the first online launch, though not by much.
Is more of a pr success, but if that ensures significant sales now, i give up on humanity.
Cube - cheapest, but lacks dvd. Best line-up of exclusive titles, IMO.
With just £30 saving on the xbox, we could see a rough ride for ninty unless they retaliate with their own cuts. Still, varying need for the dvd and very strong exclusives should keep ninty in the game.
Xbox - Better dvd than the ps2, better tech under the hood, but probably a worse image. Loses ground to the cube on price and games.
Well, i can feel the ache on my wallet, if it were'nt for the gates associations that seem to continue to plague the machine, i think the xbox would move on to dominate the gaming market. Still, i expect big success, but..not to its full potential.
*The analysis is, naturally, just my opinion on the situation. If anyone genuinely disagrees, feel free to say so, but if you're a pre-pubescent fanboy with nothing important to say, go start your own topic to spam up with meaningless crap that nobody wants to read.
Thanks.
