I like a lot of people have been eager to get hold of some of the AAA titles on the horizon, but they all appear to be coming out in the last 2 or 3months of the year obviously I can't buy them all and will have to make some tough choices. Which I might not have had to make if some of them had come out during the middle part of the year.

Its all about proper forward planning and getting the games out in time for the Christmas period the thing is most of these games have been out in places like the US and Japan for a good SIX months before they are released in this country.
One question still remains however, if more developers were to release AAA titles of popular types in months when the others would not consider they might get the whole market to thereselfs and make more money than releasing at the same time as everybody else and therefore sharing the market.

At first i thought that it would be because they want the money, but then a i realised that it has the opposite effect.
Like you said not all of us can afford all the games meaning that it would be the best one you would buy first.
That means if the 2 games were 97% and 96% the maker of the 96% would lose profit it would of made if they released it later on after the other game has died down.
