In this day in age we dont just want gameplay but graphics and looks. But looking at certain titles looking to hit the shelves this year it seems to be the same old stuff. Take the FIFA series, this has used the same recurring gameplay for about seven years and most of us just cant be bothered with it any more. We want better games and not just games with amazing graphics(which do help sometimes)
We want new innovative games to suit every age and new ideas and thoughts. I also look at games that have been copied off movies and vice versa and think oh no!!. We've seen it all before off these movies and games.
With the next gen consoles and new games hitting the shelves we all hope that not only nice graphics make games what they are, but good gameplay that will intrigue and keep us facinnated for weeks and weeks!!
Does anyone know anyof these games that are hitting the shelves and I hope the new GTA lives up to expectations??

As for your topic i know what you mean.
Now developers have the power for better consoles thats all they seem to care about. Ok i admit when i saw pics from games on the new consoles i did think oh my god great graphics.
Im sure im not the only one who thought this, but now the graphics craze has died down a little i was expecting games to start being good graphics but more attebtion paid to the gameplay/controls and what not.
maybe it will happen.
