*Final Fantasy Evo VII*
A remake on the original ‘FF7’, ‘Final Fantasy Evo VII’ takes RPG gaming to a whole new level. After a recent change in the meaning of RPG (to ‘Racing Playstation Gaming’) ‘FFE7’ sees you in control of a young adventurer in search of the final part he needs for his car, some fury dice. The only problem is, the evil Emperor Impreza has stolen the only pair of dice available. So it’s up to you and your trusty Mitsubishi Evo VII to go and defeat the evil Emperor. During your adventure you will race against such evil as your older, uglier brother, Evo V, and the Ford army made up of Sgt Focus and his four Escorts. ‘Final Fantasy Evo VII’ will be out through Square in the fourth gear of this year.
*Tune Raider*
Cars have always been seen as boy’s toys. However, one lass feels that girls should get into cars as well as boys. Lada Croft, this very girl, is in your hands, as you have to go around persuading every girl that engines rule the world. Armed with her twin exhausts, Lada must de-fumigate any female refusing to obey her commands. Once every wench in the world is converted to petrol sniffing butches, Lada must lead her team on the racetrack to defeat the boys and show that girls can be just as race mad as boys. An original idea indeed. ‘Tune Raider’ will be out next suspension, sorry, Spring, from Eidos.
*Solid Metal Gear Stick*
Furious owners of the Skoda Felicia have been complaining that the gear stick in the new model of the car is nowhere near as good as that in the new Mercedes Clk. Instead of trying to explain that the Mercedes is a better car, you must try and sort out the problem a different way so all your customers are happy. This is where ‘Riding’ comes in, a blonde, slightly feminine, Skoda sales rep. You must control him into the depths of the Mercedes research center in order to steel the plans to the firmer, stronger, gear stick. You must try and evade any German guards that get in your way by using cunning stealth and Mercedes badges sewn to your overalls. ‘Solid Metal Gear Stick’ is a sure fire hit and will be out from Konami in conjunction of the release of the new Felicia.
*Jak and Dragster*
The sequel to ‘Jak and Daxter 2’, ‘Jak and Dragster’ sees our adventurous duo at it again. After being turned back into human form in the second edition, clumsy Daxter goes and falls in a eco powered puddle of oil and is turned into a Drag Car. Oh dear. The only cure for poor Daxter is Champagne. So, as Jak, you must race Daxter to Drag Racing victory and collect a bottle of champagne. After winning several races in your Eco friendly dragster, you should have collected enough champagne to turn your petrol blooded friend back to the nice (heh), friendly guy he was before. In a ‘Knight Rider’ kind of way, Daxter will talk to you to encourage you on your journey. Naughty Dog is set to release ‘Jak and Dragster’ later this gear.
So there you have it. After the Polyphony Digital party won the gaming elections every gaming factor has been turned into something car related. Some of us may love it, some may loath it. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Nath.

WELL DONE.
But the next game I will buy is Stuntman.
(Quite obviously, Evo VII would smoke the Scooby!)
