hey,
i am owning a windows 98, 160MB Ram, 4 GB HDD, 233MHz Pentium 2 (codename Klamath or something, means nothin to me!) with a FSB 66.8 MHz.
I hate the speed of this computer, i have upgraded the ram, its helped but the computer still needs a speed boost, i am wondering if anyone could suggest how i can upgrade the CPU (if possible, i bought this computer 5 years ago!) and how much would it cost???

Oh and there's no point in trying to find a CPU to fit your old mobo as it is most likely that it has a blade design instead of pin which are hard to find and will probably cost you as much as a newish CPU, you might aswell rebuild your PC.

Right, so:

-Mobo
-CPU
-HDD
-Case

All you need is RAM and a CD-ROM and you've got yourself a new PC :)

You are looking at CPU/MOBO and i would upgrade hard drive to do all this to a pretty up to date spec for around £250 as you may need new case, also better off buying the bit on line as it is cheaper.

New mobo and CPU, or take the easy way out and get a new PC.
