england vs portugal next month. Time to predict the New faces who will be in the squad (some have been capped but left out of contention recently):

my pedictions remembering itll probably be more than 23 players:

IN:

Bowyer
Woodgate
Terry (injured but its rumoured he will be picked to show FA support)
Robinson
Defoe

Maybes:

A.Smith
D.Dunn

Should have a chance but will be left out:

Kirkland (lack of match practice)
Jansen (injured)

I think the squad will be:

Seaman
Robinson
James

Bridge
ashley Cole
Southgate
ferdinand
Campbell
Woodgate
Terry
Mills

Beckham
Gerrard
Sinclair
Hargreaves
Dyer
Murphy
Bowyer
Joe Cole
Butt
Scholes

Owen
Defoe
Vassell
Heskey
Fowler

Predicted line up

Seaman (robinson)
Cole (bridge)
Ferdinand
Campbell (woodgate)
Mills
Dyer (sinclair)
Gerrard (Butt)
Scholes (Bowyer)
Beckham (hargreaves or Dyer in a position switch)
Owen (defoe)
Heskey (vassell)

Right then we will see how hilariously innacurate i am next month!

They lost 4-0 to Newcastel close enough.

Bah shutup you havn't seen one Leicester match when he has played. Nah i'm not a fanboy, I just think he should be given a chance with the England Squad. and also we had a crappy manager, and also we had Tim Flowers for half of last season.

I've got a feeling that Bowyer will be picked this time along with Woodgate, who hasn't played for England for a good year or two.

Bowyer's been on superb form recently for Leeds, scoring goals, playing well, putting all that talk about him behind him - like a true proffesional.

I reckom he could be played in Scholes' position during the second half.
And Woodgate may appear as another alternative to Campbell at the back - seeing as he's played with Rio at Leeds before.

I don't think Terry will make it this time round though, his unproffesional behaviour Off the Pitch may have cost him a chance once again. If he ever stops behaving like a prat away from Football, then he'd certainly deserve a chance on the pitch in his country's colours.

We'll see Monday lunch-time...

Reddy that's rubbish and you know it. James is the only reason why West Ham aren't losing about 7-0 each game. A typical example was his excellent last minute save against Wiltord (I think).

Just because you support Leicester you want Ian Walker included. I hate to break the news to you, (silly fanboy), but there are at least 10 better keepers in this counrty, hence Walker is confined to the dark dpeths of Division 1.

As for you Reynolds, dont start quoting everything.

no he's a bit of a joke really. they'd be better of calling up Kirkland who is inexperienced because at least he has a future in the international scene. Walker, martyn and James are jokers and are all highly over rated. The best thing that could have happened was if kirkland had gone to arsenal or man utd last summer where he would actually stand a chance of playing.
